Review: A Hollywood-esque design that lacks imagination starts things off for this five-poster set. The second is a slight bit more interesting, though the cheesy Virus symbol makes the film look like it’s intended to be 28 Days Later on Mars. The third design is utterly forgettable. The fourth is incrementally better than the first two designs with a neat post-apocalyptic scribble for the title font.

Meanwhile, the fifth poster design is artistically bold, conjuring images of a film that is trying to be something old fashioned, but completely new at the same time. Unfortunately, all other evidence is to the contrary.

Review: Pick a genre film that blends sci-fi and horror elements and you have the culmination of what this film looks like. Trying to pick up on the horror in space motif, the film looks patently ludicrous and utterly paint-by-numbers. You know it wants to be an Alien/28 Days Later hybrid, but the trailer doesn’t suggest it’s going to work.

Oscar Prospects:

None.
