Review: (#1) There isn’t a lot of difference between this film and all prior Nicolas Sparks adaptations. It may have sexy leads, but it has no spark of originality and audiences are going to be able to key into that. (#2) This makes the film seem a little more palatable, but not by a lot. The sexiness is still there and the time-spanning parallel stories are in tact, but neither really seem that impressive.
