Poster: C / D+ / C-

Review: The first design, although the best of the three, puts the two lead characters of the film together when they spend most of the film apart. It’s a detailed design that confuses the viewer. The next two designs do a much better job of keeping the characters thematically separate, but they are also more sparse. The second poster is dull while the third is more colorful, but still less interesting.

Trailer: C

Review: It’s an interesting concept. To explore a marriage in such bold terms is what might make this film appeal to a wider audience than it might otherwise. Still, the trailer is rather conventionally edited, unmistakably manipulative and lacks an impetus for the audience to give it a try when they think they’ve seen the resolution of the film in the trailer.

Oscar Prospects:

None.
