Review: (#1) The connection to the Uncle Sam “I Want You” posters is unmistakable and failing to make that concept work for your film is the biggest failure of all.

(#2) It’s an interesting way of conveying the film to the audience. That is if the audience knows what the film is about. What would be most interesting is if someone had gone and collected (or goes and collects) the actors’ signatures to put on this. (#3) A dull white background, annoying facial expressions, and a general lack of thematic relevance don’t make for an appealing poster design.

Trailer Rating: C+ / B-

Review: (#1) Presenting itself as a drama for the modern political landscape, the trailer comes off looks like some hamfisted attempt to make a political statement without being effective at it.

(#2) The more one sees of this film, the more it seems like the fairly one-note premise might have some depth and bite. There are quite a few solid comedians here and some decent humor, which could be just enough to pull a small audience to the theater.

Oscar Prospects:

None.
