Poster: C+

Review: A woman caught between two men. The design works well, though it’s almost lifeless in its bland color scheme, which can’t make it stand out to very many passersby.

Review: I wonder sometimes why it’s necessary to throw up critical plaudits at every opportunity. Time has proven that critics don’t always help or hinder a film and in the indie world, it’s about the trailer presentation as much as anything. Tradition, I guess. And that’s what this film is about, so perhaps it’s appropriate. The film itself looks fairly commonplace, which may be why the producers felt the need to pronounce the critics’ praise.

Oscar Prospects:

It’s one of this year’s key contenders for a Best Foreign Language Film nomination and, hot of Asghar Farhadi’s success with A Separation, Farhadi’s latest film could be one of the top potential winners. Outside of the foreign language category, the film has likely no chance.
