Review: (#1) A figure visually associated with being on the ceiling leaves a lot of space empty and does little to accentuate itself. (#2) This is more in line with the film’s premise and might scare up a few potential viewers, but the end result just isn’t that interesting. (#3) This looks like a hamfisted attempt at creating something symbolic without having the courage to go for it, such as with a figure walking down the hall beneath the lights that are clearly cruciform in nature and upside down to boot. That visual symbol makes the poster stronger, but the facial overlay and the lack of commitment hurt it.

Trailer Rating: C+

Review: If there were a master copy of how to cut every supernatural-oriented cinema trailer, it wouldn’t be surprising as there seems to be a formula to each that makes none of them look particularly distinct. Take this trailer for example.

Oscar Prospects:

None.
