Release Date:

April 10, 2015

Synopsis:

From IMDb: “When a teenage girl says she’s the victim of a secret network called The Sisterhood of Night, a quiet suburban town becomes the backdrop for a modern-day Salem witch trial.”

Poster: D

Review: There’s a notable lack of creativity going on with films that target young audiences. Has the modern youth culture become so dulled to the medium of poster design that they cannot appreciate something inventive? My guess is no, but that’s not what the trend is suggesting.

Trailer: B

Review: A type of modern revision on the idea of the Salem Witch trials, the trailer barely suggests that motif even if that’s what the producers are going for. It does take an interesting look into teen culture and the desire for girls to fit in with one another. That could make the film a lot more interesting than I suspect it is.

Oscar Prospects:

None.
