Review: (#1) This is a rudimentary attempt to use a scene from the film to express it’s boldness. The PhotoShopped-in stars don’t feel quite right and most people looking at this aren’t going to get the impression that they need to see it. (#2) The PhotoShop elements of this poster are less obvious, but they have tried to give more attention to the bespectacled figure at the table, who appears to be the film’s protagonist. It’s not much more inspiring than the first poster design.

Trailer Rating: B

Review: There are some fascinating elements of humor here, interesting observations about art, and an overarching appearance of uniqueness. That may assist in selling it on the art house circuit, but mass audiences won’t even give it a second thought.

Oscar Prospects:

Sweden’s Oscar submission is a Palme d’Or winner, but has significant English elements, which might hinder it’s Oscar chances.
