Review: (#1) A dull, but visually stark poster design that gives us a brief glimpse at the dynamic of the characters. (#2) The bold title does little to distract from the almost lifeless design that dominates the poster. (#3) While the positioning tell us a great deal about the characters, it doesn’t tell us enough and the surrounding design is simply not compelling.

Trailer Rating: C

Review: I’m sure there’s a compelling story to tell here. I’m also certain that Glenn Close will be excellent. However, the trailer does everything it can to disabuse the viewer of either of those notions.

Oscar Prospects:

There was an initial belief that Glenn Close would finally win an Oscar, but the first trailer doesn’t look like she’s doing much.
