A frequent occurrence during the Summer months, we’ll have a new reigning box office champion next weekend and it won’t be Adam Sandler. X-Men: Days of Future Past has been tracking towards a huge debut blending both original and First Class casts. That’s a recipe for a blockbuster. Opening over Memorial Day weekend will add a sizable padding to its total.

Individual Commentaries

Wesley Lovell: As X-Men is part of my favorite franchise, I have no qualms about declaring it a must-see event. The Gore Vidal documentary is probably the limited release I’d most look forward to seeing.
Peter J. Patrick: Memorial Day weekend is the start of the Summer movie season. Will audiences go for anything beyond the latest X-Men movie?
Tripp Burton: If you like the types if films being released this week then these could be some good entries!
Thomas LaTourrette: Looking forward to X-Men, as those films are generally an escapist fantasy. Words and Pictures also looks like it could be an enjoyable film.
