Looking at the Weekend: Apr. 10-12, 2015

Another week with no competition, so the only question is will the latest Nicholas Sparks offering top the second weekend of Furious 7 or will it be a short ride? Chalk up another weekend for the seventh journey of the Fast and Furious crew.

Individual Commentaries

Wesley Lovell: The real quality stuff come from the specialty box office where Clouds of Sils Maria and Ex Machina both have great potential.
Peter J. Patrick: Some interesting new films but nothing that can’t wait for DVD.
Tripp Burton: There is some really good stuff coming out this weekend, but you need to search beyond the megaplex
Thomas LaTourrette: Clouds of Sils Maria sounds like a well acted, thoughtfully made film. A rarity for this time of year, but one to look forward to. The remainder don’t sound so accomplished.
