It’s Valentine’s Day, so counterprogramming can sometimes be counterproductive. However, with three “romantic” releases targeting similar audiences, a big budget remake might just do the trick. I give the slight edge this week to RoboCop but I think About Last Night and Winter’s Tale could also be potent competitors. Endless Love will be incredibly finite.

Individual Commentaries

Wesley Lovell: The week’s offerings aren’t particularly interesting. About Last Night is the only trailer that made me laugh and actually got me interested in its subjects, so it gets my endorsement.
Peter J. Patrick: This year’s Valentine’s Day releases are definitely not for movie lovers.
Tripp Burton: This week is headlined by some pointless remakes. I’ll be staying at home.
