It’s the ultimate face-off of badasses. In one corner, you have a late-career action star turning a non-stop flight into a thriller. On the other hand, you have Jesus Christ. For a film made by and for Christians to flop at the box office, it would have to be bad. And they can handle relatively bad to begin with.

Individual Commentaries

Wesley Lovell: There is no release slated for this weekend I would want to see more than The Wind Rises. I’ve already seen it and I’m still excited.
Peter J. Patrick: Oscar nominee The Wind Rises and Non-Stop, a halfway decent looking thriller, make this look like a decent week at the movies.
Tripp Burton: There are few filmmakers I get more excited for than Hayao Miyazaki, so that is the no-brainer choice of the weekend.
