Individual Commentary:

Wesley Lovell (WL): Ii’m interested only in Michael Keaton’s performance. The film looks fairly unexceptional.
Peter J. Patrick (PP): I found Michael Keaton’s broad interpretation of McDonald’s Ray Kroc in the trailer off-putting to the point where I am no longer eager to see what was once a highly anticipated film for me.
Tripp Burton (TB): This looks fine enough, but I think there is a better film in this story than the trailer makes it look.
Thomas LaTourette (TL): Considering this had been talked about as a possible Oscar nominee, it certainly has flown under the radar, and was released much later than the August date listed on the trailer. It looks like it could have been good, but I am guessing that it is not.

Individual Commentary:

Wesley Lovell (WL): Not my kind of movie.
Peter J. Patrick (PP): This faith-based dramedy for insiders is unlikely to find any new converts.
Tripp Burton (TB): This film looks bland and uninteresting. I can’t even figure out what it wants to be.
Thomas LaTourette (TL): This just looks like a very sappy film. I bet he finds Christ at the end, but I do not need to sit through this.

Individual Commentary:

Wesley Lovell (WL): Still feel burned by M. Night Shyamalan. Not sure if I’m willing to give him another try.
Peter J. Patrick (PP): James McAvoy is always worth watching, but how many comeback chances can we give M. Night Shyamalan before we finally give up?
Tripp Burton (TB): A great idea for a horror film and I’m curious to see what it is like, but I’ll wait to watch it in the confines of my comfy couch.
Thomas LaTourette (TL): Some early reviews say that this is a return to form for writer/director M. Night Shyamalan, but it looks a little too violent for my tastes.

Individual Commentary:

Wesley Lovell (WL): The first film was fun enough, but the second doesn’t look that interesting.
Peter J. Patrick (PP): This sequel to a fifteen-year-old film I had no interest in seeing in the first place is nothing I am going to get excited about.
Tripp Burton (TB): I’ve never seen the earlier film.
Thomas LaTourette (TL): Having not seen the original film, this one just looks stupid. Lots of action and cheesy lines, I will pass.

Individual Commentary:

Wesley Lovell (WL): Looks like a fairly standard thriller with limited enjoyment possibilities.
Peter J. Patrick (PP): Strong cast looks like it could elevate what might be an otherwise routine thriller.
Tripp Burton (TB): This looks bland and uninteresting.
Thomas LaTourette (TL): A violent and convoluted trailer leaves me with no interest in this movie.

Individual Commentary:

Wesley Lovell (WL): Other than being a contender for Best Animated Feature, the film’s traile isn’t that interesting.
Peter J. Patrick (PP): Another Studio Ghibli masterwork – enough said.
Tripp Burton (TB): I’ve heard lovely things about this film and can’t wait to check it out.
Thomas LaTourette (TL): It boasts a beautiful score and some nice animation, but this allegorical movie did not totally sweep me away when I saw it.

Individual Commentary:

Wesley Lovell (WL): The trailer isn’t that interesting, but the film could be. The jury is still out.
Peter J. Patrick (PP): Enigmatic French film about an aimless filmmaker and sudden father is nothing if not different.
Tripp Burton (TB): This looks very interesting and I’m curious about it.
Thomas LaTourette (TL): Early reviews seem to like this slightly surreal film, but an unsubtitled trailer gives me no idea of what it is about.

Individual Commentary:

Wesley Lovell (WL): Michael Fassbender doesn’t always choose good movies to play in, but this one doesn’t look too bad.
Peter J. Patrick (PP): Family crime drama looks like another tour-de-force for both Michael Fassbender and Brendan Gleeson.
Tripp Burton (TB): I always love seeing Brendan Gleason get a role he deserves so this should be worth seeing.
Thomas LaTourette (TL): Decent cast, but this mishmash of a family drama and crime family just does not interest me much.
