Looking at the Weekend: Jul. 10-12, 2015

After weeks of dominance by Jurassic World and Inside Out, the box office crown will finally be handed off to the cute little critters from the Despicable Me franchise.

Individual Commentaries

Wesley Lovell: Minions is where I’ll be. However, I could be convinced to check out Self/less too.
Peter J. Patrick: Another good week for summertime activities that don’t include new movies.

Thomas LaTourrette: It’s scary when a film that is the third of its series sounds like the best bet, but Minions could be fun, and hopefully will be better than its trailer. Self/less sounds like an interesting concept gone seriously awry and I don’t know enough about Suicide Theory to really know what to say on it.
