It’s the battle of the sequels this weekend, but I think the animated feature, the only film targeted at family audiences in some time, should have absolutely no problem dominating the weekend.
Individual Commentaries
Wesley Lovell: I’m a fairly ardent fan of How to Train Your Dragon. The sequel’s trailers have been largely unimpressive, but I’ll still be in line to watch it.
Peter J. Patrick: This is a decent new film week with the limited releases a bit more personally appealing to me.
Tripp Burton: The cineplexes are filled with sequels of films I never saw, so I’ll be at the art house…
Thomas LaTourrette: I’m looking forward to both 22 Jump Street and How to Train Your Dragon 2. The originals were both surprisingly enjoyable and if they capture some of that magic again these could be fun.
