Looking at the Weekend: Jun. 20-22, 2014

While I’m not sure either of this week’s new releases will be able to top this weekend’s #1 or #2 films, Think Like a Man Too has the best pedigree to be the top new release.

Individual Commentaries

Wesley Lovell: As much as I’m interested to see what Clint Eastwood does, the trailer doesn’t have me too terribly excited for Jersey Boys. It and The Last Sentence are the ones I have the most interest in.
Peter J. Patrick: Jersey Boys should be that rare film these days to appeal to all demographics.
Tripp Burton: We get a break from the big Summer action films, but that doesn’t leave us with much of interest.
Thomas LaTourrette: I really want to like Jersey Boys, but am prepared to be letdown. Venus in Fur could be fun, though I don’t normally associate Polanski with comedies, even psychological ones.
