One new wide release, a part of a historic franchise, should have no problem dominating a weakening box office.

Individual Commentaries

Wesley Lovell: I was tired of the Transformers franchise after the first, I don’t think I shall give this one a look. However, the specialty box office has far better possibilities topped by Snowpiercer.
Peter J. Patrick: Unless you’re a Transformers fan, the better bet this weekend is one of the limited releases.
Tripp Burton: Only one big release, and it is the fourth entry into an unbearable cinematic franchise. Find some smaller films this weekend!
Thomas LaTourrette: It is hard to get excited by another loud Transformers movie. Instead, Snowpiercer sounds like it could be an interesting action film.
