The second part of the Divergent series should easily best the weekend’s other new releases. Whether it can top the second weekend of Cinderella depends on a lot of things, but I think it should still win.

Individual Commentaries

Wesley Lovell: The original Divergent was engaging enough that it makes this weekend’s release my best bet for a good time.
Peter J. Patrick: Insurgent, the second film in the Divergent series and Kumiko about a woman under the spell of the 1996 film Fargo, seem to be the week’s best bets.

Thomas LaTourrette: A rather lackluster week, though Kumiko might prove interesting. Divergent was relatively enjoyable, but Insurgent is not getting terribly good reviews.
