The nominees were announced on December 22, 2014 while the winners were chosen January 5, 2015. Winners are highlighted in bold. This group seemed to spread things out a little better, splitting Picture/Director in a way that it isn’t normally swapped while some of the other choices are either eclectic or mainstream without fail. The Canadian film selections were a bit surprising in a few places, but without knowing enough about that late of features, I can’t say if it was a good or a bad thing.
