Breaking their nominations up into general film categories and Canadian film categories, the Vancouver Film Critics yesterday announced their nomination for 2016. The big nominees among Canadian films are Hello Destroyer, Werewolf, and Window Horses, which were their three nominees for Best Canadian film. Similarly, their biggest nominees for the general film awards were their three Best Picture nominees La La Land, Manchester by the Sea and Moonlight. They’ll announce their general film winners on Dec. 20 and their Canadian film winners on Jan. 9.
