And there you have it. The ceremony has barely started and all the winners have been announced. Although it came away with the most awards, The Grand Budapest Hotel went home without Best Picture. Instead, BAFTA reversed the guild trend with a Boyhood victory for Best Picture. The Theory of Everything took home-turf honors this year pulling along its Best British Film win with awards for Best Actor and Best Adapted Screenplay. Those two categories remain the most competitive of this year’s awards season. Meanwhile, a rubber stamp has been affixed to the other three acting awards.
