With Guillermo del Toro’s The Shape of Water winning both the PGA and DGA awards, it goes into Oscar night as the odds-on favorite. Three Billboards and Get Out are still threats, but considering how long it’s been since a truly huge production took the top prize, this love letter to old Hollywood in general and creature features in specific, it’s a fairly heavy favorite at this point.
