Rating: C+ Commentary: It has that fantasy quality needed to convey some of the more complex elements of the film’s plot, but it doesn’t entirely match what’s presented in the trailer. Catchy design, but seems hollow. |
Rating: B- Commentary: Apart from the fact that it features a “precocious” child actor, the film doesn’t seem that bad. The trailer designers have managed to blend in a little bit of mystery with a little bit of conscientious self-awareness, making the film seem like it might be worthy of your attention. |
