I’ve always been curious why secondary trailers and later tend to become more and more idiotic. Is the film comparatively problematic or do the trailer creators want it to appeal to the base denominator.

Rise of the Guardians (trailer #2, new posters)

	Rating: B- (All) Commentary: (see all the posters at the Preview Link below) There has become something of an artistic movement surrounding the character poster. Although we’ve seen them for decades, the idea of individualizing each poster is frequently done quite well and for this series it works, though it feels a bit forced.	Rating: B Commentary: While not as impressive as the first trailer, this one still engages the audience in ways that should bring them to the theater. The problem is the quality level of the story seems less impressive now than it did.
