On Sundays, we list the weekend’s upcoming films along with previews of trailers and posters. On Wednesdays, we preview all of the upcoming new wide and limited releases hitting the theaters the coming weekend. On Fridays, we’ll now tell you what you should see. We pose two questions each week to our contributors and their responses are posted below.

Wesley Lovell

1. Which of the three new wide releases would you choose to recommend above the others?
Brave without hesitation, but Seeking a Friend for the End of the World might not be bad for a second choice.
2. Are there any limited release features this week that you would recommend (and why)?
With the potential of being a key contender at the Oscars this year, and an important subject matter, The Invisible War would be my choice.

1. Which of the three new wide releases would you choose to recommend above the others?
Seeking a Friend for the End of the World has the most intriguing premise of this week’s releases, though a comedy about the end of the world might not be everyone’s cup of tea.
2. Are there any limited release features this week that you would recommend (and why)?
Universal pans for the new Woody Allen film make it seem like something to avoid. Nothing else this week sounds interesting. Stay home and read a book instead.

1. Which of the three new wide releases would you choose to recommend above the others?
I always go with the Pixar over much of anything else, so go see Brave.
2. Are there any limited release features this week that you would recommend (and why)?
I always go with the Woody Allen film over much of anything else, so go see To Rome With Love.
