Trailers (Due to age, may no longer be available) Posters (Due to age, may no longer be available) Poster Rating: B- Review: Color-wise the poster is washed out, but fitting. Stylistically, the superimposition of characters over several Bruges scenes is a bit off-putting. Trailer Rating: B Review: The Oscar-winning director of the live-action short film…

Trailers (Due to age, may no longer be available) Posters (Due to age, may no longer be available) Poster Rating: C Review: There’s nothing exceptionally attractive about the poster. It’s Palme d’Or laurel doesn’t spruce up the image and without a better understanding of the film, the poster doesn’t make sense. If you had never…

Trailers (Due to age, may no longer be available) Posters (Due to age, may no longer be available) Poster Rating: B Review: Although the pink title is an eyesore, the rest of the poster works well together. There are similarities to last year’s Amazing Grace except that the core figure is hollow, not part of…

Trailers (Due to age, may no longer be available) Posters (Due to age, may no longer be available) Poster Rating: C- Review: There’s nothing appealing or interesting about this poster. It’s only a pic of star Christopher Plummer in a plug at trying to get him Oscar recognition. It’s unlikely the film will generate such…

Trailers (Due to age, may no longer be available) Posters (Due to age, may no longer be available) Poster Rating: C+ Review: The golden-hue to the Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson is the poster’s only saving grace. Otherwise, it’s a standard romantic comedy image that will entice fans of the actors, but few others. Trailer…

Trailers (Due to age, may no longer be available) Posters (Due to age, may no longer be available) Poster Rating: C+ Review: There’s nothing exceptional about this cookie cutter poster. It uses the same design elements as many others of its genre, the only distinction is in the cooler colors used, which is only marginally…

Trailers (Due to age, may no longer be available) Posters (Due to age, may no longer be available) Poster Rating: C- Review: Emphasising the animation style of the trailer, this poster avoids giving the title and relies on the viewer already knowing the film’s name, which will do very little to entice an audience to…

Trailers (Due to age, may no longer be available) Posters (Due to age, may no longer be available) Poster Rating: D Review: A new placeholder that changes the way things are done. Using black text on a white background isn’t original, but it’s a lot more pleasant to look at than many. Trailer Rating: B…

Trailers (Due to age, may no longer be available) Posters (Due to age, may no longer be available) Poster Rating: C Review: This Atonement/The Diving Bell and the Butterfly-similar poster is pretty typical of the romance and comedy genres, though seldom in combination. I can’t imagine anyone going to the film except for Ryan Reynolds…

Trailers (Due to age, may no longer be available) Posters (Due to age, may no longer be available) Poster Rating: C- Review: While the poster certainly evokes a tiny aspect of the film, it feels completely inappropriate for the tone of the project. It’s far too simplistic for even a fan of simplicity to enjoy.…

Trailers (Due to age, may no longer be available) Posters (Due to age, may no longer be available) Poster Rating: D+ Review: Place-holding is a terrible pastime and here, the common design for the title of Amusement in most advertising for the film finds its way to a solo gig on the poster. It wasn’t…

Trailers (Due to age, may no longer be available) Posters (Due to age, may no longer be available) Poster Rating: B Review: Heavily reminiscent of the 60s and early 70s, this poster is engaging, but overly simplified. It tells us nothing about the story and barely introduces the characters. However, at least it’s better than…
