Review: If you want to sell a film starring Robert Redford, don’t hide his face. Of course, there’s a plot-based reason for that, but by eliminating everything else in the design, including a background image or non-generic background color, you don’t do anything to sell it.

Trailer Rating: C / C+

Review: (#1) While it’s nice to see Sissy Spacek back, this film doesn’t look that interesting. There are elements of other recent heist films, including the “eye-witness” account footage near the end, but the purpose and necessity of the film gets a bit lost and muddied as it progresses.

(#2) With more information about the premise to the film available in this trailer, it becomes a bit more interesting than it did before. Unfortunately, it also doesn’t feel like a film that you have to rush right out and see.

Oscar Prospects:

None.
