Review: (#1) This two-tier poster shows off the drab colors of the desert and suggests a mild amount of drama, but is structurally bland. (#2) Even more drab and bland than the other design, this poster has no visual distinctiveness or excitement to it.

Trailer Rating: B

Review: Intense and creative, we often see war films from new angles when put in the hands of those who don’t want to view things traditionally. Thinking of movies like Buried and No Man’s Land have been built on unique concepts and resulted in films of surprising depth. Doug Liman is the kind of director who can accomplish something like that and the trailer bears out those possibilities.

Oscar Prospects:

I doubt it’s a contender in major categories, but it could end up a low-level competitor in the sound categories.
