Review: (#1) The two figures awash in a hopelessly bland white background are a solid evocation of the film’s premise. (#2) This design is a bit more literal in its expression of the film’s plot, which doesn’t make it ugly, just uninspired.

(#3) Sometimes, the pain and sorrow is hidden behind a mask of simple happiness. Without seeing the film, it’s impossible to glean too much from this design, but I expect it will be a lot more significant after the film is seen.

Trailer Rating: B-

Review: Jordan Peele is making himself out to be the preeminent horror film director working today, much like James Cameron established himself as a science fiction filmmaker. This film, though the trailer isn’t nearly as enticing as Get Out, still looks rather compelling and finding out what’s going on will be half the fun.

Oscar Prospects:

Jordan Peele’s previous horror film was an Oscar success; however, this one doesn’t look like it will follow in Get Out‘s footsteps.
