Review: (#1) A dull background and a generic foreground can make for a most unappealing design. (#2) While this does feel like it’s been done far too many times before, the design works decently well. However, it looks like a knock-off Quentin Tarantino film as a result, which may not be what they are going for. (#3) While not much better than design #1, this poster doesn’t really excite. The blood spatters feel out of place and the split-panel design isn’t very artfully blended. (#4) A much better, more compelling design. It has been overused, but it has a visual veneer that is most fascinating and worth looking at for longer than your normal poster design.

Review: The trailer seems to promise a film that the producers can’t deliver. However, the two notices from critics give one hope that the film is indeed better than it ultimately looks. There are some fascinating elements here, which suggests more than we’re promised.

Oscar Prospects:

None.
