I give a slight box office edge to Need for Speed, but The Single Moms Club could also be the weekend’s top new release. It’s also possible that neither can overcome the second weekend of 300: Rise of an Empire.

Individual Commentaries

Wesley Lovell: The Single Moms Club might not be bad, though I’d probably check out Veronica Mars if I were to pick one title to watch. I might catch Enemy also.
Peter J. Patrick: The long-awaited return of Veronica Mars happens on the big screen, but is it worth going out of your way to find as opposed to waiting for the DVD?
Tripp Burton: I guess that now that the Oscars are done, the studios don’t feel the need to release quality films anymore?
