Handed out before the televised awards, Grammy winners were announced in the three film-related categories. As expected, last year’s big winner, “Let It Go” triumphed over all newcomers to win Best Song. The film also Best Compilation soundtrack in a surprise over Guardians of the Galaxy. The one bit of Oscar-relevant news is that The Grand Budapest Hotel won the Grammy version of the Best Original Score award. It’s significant, but it won out over non-Oscar nominees.
