On Wednesdays, we preview all of the upcoming new wide and limited releases hitting the theaters the coming weekend. On Fridays, we’ll now tell you what you should see. We pose two questions each week to our contributors and their responses are posted below.

Wesley Lovell

1. Which of the two new wide releases would you choose to recommend above the others?
You cannot go wrong with Pixar.
2. Are there any limited release features this week that you would recommend (and why)?
There’s just too much coming out. If anything, China’s Beginnings of the Great Revival might be the most visually stimulating, but Chris Weitz’s A Better Life may be the way to go.

1. Which of the two new wide releases would you choose to recommend above the others?
If you liked Cars, then Cars 2 should be right up your alley. Otherwise find something else to do with your time.
2. Are there any limited release features this week that you would recommend (and why)?
A Better Life looks like a worthwhile time at the movies and the re-issue of The Man Who Fell to Earth could be fun.

Tripp Burton

1. Which of the two new wide releases would you choose to recommend above the others?
Both look like they are great for their target audiences.
2. Are there any limited release features this week that you would recommend (and why)?
The Re-Issue of The Man Who Fell to Earth will easily be the best movie in theaters this week.

Wes Huizar

1. Which of the two new wide releases would you choose to recommend above the others?
Cars 2 obviously. I mean, come on! It’s a new Pixar film!
2. Are there any limited release features this week that you would recommend (and why)?
A Better Life is getting great reviews, so I guess you should see that one.
