On Sundays, we list the weekend’s upcoming films along with previews of trailers and posters. On Wednesdays, we preview all of the upcoming new wide and limited releases hitting the theaters the coming weekend. On Fridays, we’ll now tell you what you should see. We pose two questions each week to our contributors and their responses are posted below.

Wesley Lovell

1. Which of the four new wide releases would you choose to recommend above the others?
Of the new wide releases, 50/50 holds the most promise.
2. Are there any limited release features this week that you would recommend (and why)?
There are a few that might be interesting, but my horror spoof fanaticism recommends Tucker & Dale vs. Evil.

1. Which of the four new wide releases would you choose to recommend above the others?
50/50 looks like it might be one of the year’s best comedies and worth seeing for Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s much talked about performance.
2. Are there any limited release features this week that you would recommend (and why)?
Margaret, a film made in 2005 that is only now seeing the light of day has me curious. Matt Damon, Matthew Broderick and Anna Paquin star in the film whose release was held up due to contractual disputes between the director (Kennenth Lonergan) and the studio (Fox Searchlight).

Tripp Burton

1. Which of the four new wide releases would you choose to recommend above the others?
What’s Your Number is the most up my alley, but choose your favorite genre and follow it.
2. Are there any limited release features this week that you would recommend (and why)?
I love apocalyptic and dystopian films, so Take Shelter is right up my alley.
