While supernatural elements are a key part of certain horror films, there are many such scenes in regular films that run the gamut of genres. What are your favorite scenes dealing with the supernatural.

I’ll use a loose definition of supernatural to cover more than just horror scenes:

Carnival of Souls: The Dance of Death at the Saltair Amusement Park

Contact: Ellie making contact with the alien/father on Vega

The Shining: Jack talking to Mr. Grady (actually himself) in the red bathroom. “You’ve always been the caretaker.”

The Sixth Sense: Cole in the red tent.

The Song of Bernadette: Bernadette’s last visitation on her deathbed.
