– National Board of Review (I’ll count them because they are a great indicator of what to keep an eye on for the award year…and what were glaring flops that they tried to back)
– New York Film Critics & Los Angeles Film Critics (taken both at the same time is a pretty interesting balance of perspectives)
– Chicago Film Critics (thanks to Gene & Roger, I’ve loved the critics circle from here for nearly decades now)
– Channel Awesome (purveyors of my favorite sub-sub critical genre: stand-up criticism, supplying both modern and past reviews)
– Online Film & Television Association (you guys are really awesome and definitely cater to my award junkie fix)

National Board of Review (not technically a critic’s group, but usually the first to announce, setting the tone for awards season)
