On Wednesdays, we preview all of the upcoming new wide and limited releases hitting the theaters the coming weekend. On Fridays, we’ll now tell you what you should see. We pose two questions each week to our contributors and their responses are posted below.

Wesley Lovell

1. Would you recommend readers see The Warrior’s Way?
I wouldn’t, but that’s because it’s not my type of film.
2. Which of the 7 new limited releases would you choose to recommend above the others?
Hands down: Black Swan. It’s an engaging, original picture that features an incredible performance by Natalie Portman and a strong supporting cast.

1. Would you recommend readers see The Warrior’s Way?
I recommend that people stay home and write Christmas cards or whatever they normally do the first weekend in December.
2. Which of the 7 new limited releases would you choose to recommend above the others?
Black Swan. It’s one of this year’s major Oscar contenders. See it early so you can impress your friends with your opinion of it, whether yea or nay.

Tripp Burton

1. Would you recommend readers see The Warrior’s Way?
If you are a fan of the extreme action genre, than by all means check it out; if you aren’t, you can probably pass on it.
2. Which of the 7 new limited releases would you choose to recommend above the others?
Black Swan for the art-film crowd; I Love You, Phillip Morris if you want a comedy; Rare Exports for the whole family; Night Catches Us for a sharp independent film; All Good Things, Meskada and Dead Awake for a solid-looking thriller

Wes Huizar

1. Would you recommend readers see The Warrior’s Way?
Never in a million years.
2. Which of the 7 new limited releases would you choose to recommend above the others?
Black Swan because Darren Aronofsky is one of the most interesting directors to emerge in the past 15 years and Natalie Portman is supposed to be mesmerizing.
