The second weekends of both Rampage and A Quiet Place will likely give I Feel Pretty a run for its money to take the box office crown. Ultimately, I suspect I Feel Pretty hasn’t had nearly the interest in it that these other films have, so I give the victory to A Quiet Place in its third week.

Wesley Lovell (WL): Amy Schumer has done some funny work and while this looks like it won’t be her best, it could be fun. Peter J. Patrick (PP): Obvious one-note comedy looks like something to avoid. Tripp Burton (TB): I like Amy Schumer, but this does not look like the best vehicle for her. Thomas LaTourette (TL): It might be a funny movie, and perhaps even pertinent, but I worry that it will just not be that good. Amy Schumer should be fun as the lead, but I am not sure that the writing will be as good or as daring as she will be.

Tripp Burton (TB): These are the sort of animated films that even my preschooler thinks looks lame. Thomas LaTourette (TL): This has terrible animation, bad voice-over acting, and a stupid story that seems taken straight from Star Wars.
