On Wednesdays, we preview all of the upcoming new wide and limited releases hitting the theaters the coming weekend. On Fridays, we’ll now tell you what you should see. We pose two questions each week to our contributors and their responses are posted below.

Wesley Lovell

1. Which of the two new wide releases would you choose to recommend above the others?
I really don’t have much desire to see either, but if I have to choose, it would be the cave-based Sanctum.
2. Which of the four new limited releases would you choose to recommend above the others?
Without a doubt, Don Roos’ movie The Other Woman starring Natalie Portman. It has the best prospects of any of this week’s limited releases.

Peter J. Patrick

1. Which of the two new wide releases would you choose to recommend above the others?
I wouldn’t waste my time on either of the this week’s wide releases, neither of which look very appealing.
2. Which of the four new limited releases would you choose to recommend above the others?
The Other Woman, because I’ve enjoyed the director’s previous work, and like the cast, but only if I had absolutely nothing else to do and the film was playing somewhere near.

Tripp Burton

1. Which of the two new wide releases would you choose to recommend above the others?
If you are a horror or action fan, then you may want to check these out. If you’re not, skipping them both should be a safe option.
2. Which of the four new limited releases would you choose to recommend above the others?
The Other Woman is the only one that interests me, but I’m sure that the others have their fan bases.
