On Wednesdays, we preview all of the upcoming new wide and limited releases hitting the theaters the coming weekend. On Fridays, we’ll now tell you what you should see. We pose two questions each week to our contributors and their responses are posted below.

1. Which of the two new wide releases would you choose to recommend above the others?
This would be a twist-my-arm kind of week because nothing looks appealing. But, if I have to choose between the Farrelly Brothers and another Nic Cage sci-fi/fantasy/super hero crapfest, I go with the Farrellys…at least their crap can be funny.
2. Which of the four new limited releases would you choose to recommend above the others?
No question: Of Gods and Men, a film that might have been an Oscar nominee had Dogtooth not been in competition.

1. Which of the two new wide releases would you choose to recommend above the others?
Neither. Wild horses couldn’t drag me to either of these turkeys.
2. Which of the four new limited releases would you choose to recommend above the others?
Of Gods and Men has won numerous awards and appears to be a film well worth seeing. Public Speaking looks like it might be an enormously satisfying documentary. If I had the access and the time, I’d go to see both.
