Wesley Lovell (WL): I still remain blissfully uninitiated to this franchise. Peter J. Patrick (PP): I haven’t seen the previous eight films in the franchise, and nothing in the trailer makes me want start with this one. Thomas LaTourette (TL): The franchise can be fun, but it feels like it might be going too over the top even for it, though die-hard fans should love it.

Wesley Lovell (WL): Another dull looking horror film. Peter J. Patrick (PP): The only thing that distinguishes this from all the other dead kid horror movies is that it’s in Swedish. Thomas LaTourette (TL): Horror films are not my favorite, but the trailer for this haunted house drama did little to scare up interest or chills.

Wesley Lovell (WL): Has potential, but the trailer isn’t great. Peter J. Patrick (PP): Documentary style gay immigration drama looks compelling but didn’t muster much interest at last year’s Independent Spirit awards. Thomas LaTourette (TL): One gets a feeling of the love the two men share, but not quite enough of the plot to really stir up interest. Still, I would like to see it.

Wesley Lovell (WL): Another mob film told in flashback. Nothing new to see here. Peter J. Patrick (PP): The lack of anything new or surprising in this gangster pic probably makes it one entry too many in the genre. Thomas LaTourette (TL): Another mob film which is not that exciting to me, and a trailer that does not make it seem that different from any other one.

Wesley Lovell (WL): Humorous looking horror comedy. Peter J. Patrick (PP): Film taken from a video game doesn’t hold any interest for me. Thomas LaTourette (TL): The comedy seems a little forced, but a quirky small town dealing with a werewolf might be worth seeing.
