Poster Rating: D+

Review: Thoroughly unimaginative, this poster is hardly anything to look at. A two-year-old fingerpainter (paints every medium with every type of “paint”) could have probably come up with this poster’s concept.

Trailer Rating: C-

Review: Hardly more inventive than the poster, the trailer suggests a film as stylistically bankrupt as Eddie Murphy’s previous vehicles. He’s playing multiple roles again, but this time, he looks the same. I don’t really think there’s much worth considering with this one.

Oscar Prospects:

If only Murphy would return to and stick with the dramatic roles, he might be a contender, but as he continues to do these mundane mediocritics, he’s going to continue to avoid Oscar like the plague.
