This comedy has a terrific cast and has a great deal of potential. We’ll hope they don’t squander it.

Commentary: Although some elements of the film seem rather cliche, the trailer does a fine job making this seem like a warm-hearted comedy. And with a bevy of talented actors involved, it might well be worth the effort. 		Rating: None

Oscar Chances: It’s releasing in the middle of the year which suggests it’s not fighting for Oscar consideration, but box office. And placing in the July-August corridor suggests an attempt to focus on box office counter-programming.
