On Wednesdays, we preview all of the upcoming new wide and limited releases hitting the theaters the coming weekend. On Fridays, we’ll now tell you what you should see. We pose two questions each week to our contributors and their responses are posted below.

1. Which of the two new wide releases would you choose to recommend above the others?
Kung Fu Panda has the most potential for delighting fans of the original and not being a simple re-tread.
2. Are there any limited release features this week that you would recommend (and why)?
The Tree of Life has all the buzz any film needs to make it an important film to catch at the theater.

1. Which of the two new wide releases would you choose to recommend above the others?
None. Both would likely give me a headache, albeit for different reasons.
2. Are there any limited release features this week that you would recommend (and why)?
The Tree of Life is a must-see, but it’s only playing in N.Y. and L.A.

1. Which of the two new wide releases would you choose to recommend above the others?
I liked Kung Fu Panda more than The Hangover, so I am looking forward to the former sequel more than the latter, but both look like fulfilling follow-ups.
2. Are there any limited release features this week that you would recommend (and why)?
The Tree of Life has won the most prestigious film prize in the world, so I will be checking it out!

1. Which of the two new wide releases would you choose to recommend above the others?
I honestly don’t know. I liked the first films for both movies, but I guess that I would probably recommend “Kung Fu Panda 2” just because “The Hangover Part II” looks to be exactly the same as the first movie.
2. Are there any limited release features this week that you would recommend (and why)?
“The Tree of Life” is an early front-runner at the moment, so I would say that you should definitely go see it.
