Whether you’re a tabloid junky or not, this is the kind of film that either sets the genre on its ear or reinforces the stereotype.

	Plot Summary: A documentary about a sensational story from the 1970’s covered by tabloid journalists in England that muddied the facts in a case that had he-said-she-said issues. Release Date: July 15, 2011

	Rating: B- Commentary: It evokes a sense of newspapers and that’s the primary reason it succeeds, but the image choice and hard-to-read print make it less enticing.	Rating: B+ Commentary: I had never heard of the story, but it sure sounds like something that might be fun to pop in and watch.

Oscar Chances: Errol Morris has been an Academy darling in recent years, nabbing a number of nominations. However, I don’t think this one’s going to earn him another…unless critics really step up to support it.
