Review: (#1, C) While it would seem fitting to use veils to surround our protagonist, they are done so poorly as to feel out of place and the colors clash a bit with the pallor of Amanda Seyfried’s face.

Review: (#1, B+) An intriguing idea with a plot that is largely hinted at but barely touched upon. Some interesting theatrical moments for sure and a solid-looking performance by Amanda Seyfried.

Oscar Prospects:

Atom Egoyan hasn’t been an Oscar contender in quite some time but this looks unique and interesting enough to have the potential, though the early release date isn’t a positive.
