Heart Eyes, if it succeeds where similar gimmicky horror pics failed, should come out on top.

OTHER RELEASES

We are only looking at films that have had trailers released on Rotten Tomatoes’ trailer YouTube Channels. Below are some other films that are releasing this weekend that we haven’t considered.

Are You There? (Limited)
Bring Them Down (Limited)
I Love You Forever (Limited)
A Knight’s War (Limited)
No Chains No Masters (Limited)
Suze (Limited)
When I’m Ready (Limited)

WIDE RELEASES

HEART EYES

LOVE HURTS

Heart Eyes

Wesley Lovell: The first word on the film is surprisingly positive, so it might be worth my time.

Peter J. Patrick: Latest Valentine’s Day horror movie Looks dreadful.

Thomas La Tourrette: The reviews are surprisingly good, but it just does not look like my kind of film.

Love Hurts

Wesley Lovell: Ke Huy Quan has apparently decided to squander his reborn career.

Peter J. Patrick: Looks better than the week’s other wide release, but still not my cup of tea.

Thomas La Tourrette: It does not look that different than a lot of other action films where characters have tried to leave their past behind, but it does boast two Oscar winners in the cast. Still, I am not sure that I need to see it.

LIMITED RELEASES

ARMAND

BRING THEM DOWN

DARK NUNS

PARTHENOPE

RENNER

The Limited Slate

Wesley Lovell: All but Dark Nuns look somewhat interesting.

Peter J. Patrick: Armand and Bring Them Down are strong maybes, Parthenope is a weak maybe, the other two are strong no’s.

Thomas La Tourrette: Armand and Bring Them Down, and maybe Parthenope, seem to be the best of the bunch, but all the trailers do not give one enough idea about their respective movies to make we want to dash out and see them.
