Review: (#1, C) This design will do nothing to tell you what the film is about. Your knowledge of Norwegian, or non-German World War II, history will be required to recognize the name Quisling (unless you know if the origin of the world “quisling.” Either way, this design does nothing to speak to the content of the film nor its immediacy or intrigue. Knowing something about the man might give it a vaguely terrifying appeal but that’s not a sufficient intent for a movie poster design.

Review: (#1, C) Is this a mere historical document? Is it an attempt to bring awareness to fascism and its unrepentant evil? Is it meant to juxtapose the horrors of World War II with the concepts of a religious possession horror film? That lack of purpose makes the film uninteresting, especially when there are no moments that feel either euphoric, cathartic, or compelling.

Oscar Prospects:

None.
