Review: (#1, C) A lot of empty space isn’t easily countered by the inclusion of a cute kitten. This design has a lot of wasted space, sticks with the indie concept of using film stills for your poster design, and ultimately feels like it was a last-minute, uninspired marketing effort.

Review: (#1, C+) This trailer meanders a bit, struggling to find an easy way to present a narrative that doesn’t seem to have enough emotional range on display. It almost feels like they were going for a day-in-the-life idea but forgot to make that life interesting or present it in such a way as to engage the audience.

Oscar Prospects:

It’s Cannes debut was well received so it could be a contender but it’s a little to early to tell with a film like this.
